Containment
Saving energy in the data center has become a crucial objective to companies as environmental pressures and energy costs increase. With cooling dollars accounting for up to 50% of total data center energy costs, improvements in cooling efficiency offer tremendous savings. By allowing the mixing of warm return air with cold supply air, conventional airflow management is a roadblock to achieving cooling efficiency. Cold or hot aisle containment has emerged as the answer to this problem. Polargy offers PolarPlex™ Containment Systems as the most effective airflow management tool for implementing containment strategies in the data center.

PolarPlex™ Containment Curtains

Polargy's PolarPlex™ Continment Curtains are a highly effective air isolation solution for controlling airflow in the data center. Made of high grade vinyl and hung from a trouble-free mounting system, PolarPlex™ Containment Curtains eliminate hot spots and overcooled zones, saving energy while improving equipment reliability. PolarPlex™ Containment Curtains accommodate any data center configuration, are easy to install, and flexible to redeploy.

PolarPlex™ Containment Panels
Polargy's PolarPlex™ Containment Panels are another air isolation solution for controlling airflow in the data center. The panels, deployed horizontally across the aisle, create an especially tight cold zone for even better containment. Or, the panels can be deployed vertically (in a stovepipe model) to create containment in situations where the ceiling is too high for dropping curtains. Made of aluminum framing and one of several fire-safe inserts, PolarPlex™ Containment Panels are lightweight, cost effective and nice-looking.

PolarPlex™ Containment Sliding Doors
Polargy's PolarPlex™ innovative Sliding Doors retrofit to almost any rack type with a special adaptor bracket. The sliding doors mount directly to the racks and require no extra bracing. The self supporting slide rails require no floor track so access to the contained aisle is easy and carts can pass through without having to go over a track. Door inserts can be transparent or translucent.
